Adelaide:
The Crows have appointed deputy chairman and former All-Australian full-back Nigel Smart as the club’s new chief operating officer.

Brisbane:

Carlton:

New recruits Chris Dawes and Shannon Byrnes have walked straight into the Demons’ leadership group for 2013.

North Melbourne:
Brent Harvey is leading the charge for players’ names to be featured on the back of guernseys.

Port Adelaide:
New defender Tom Clurey is learning the demands of life in the AFL quickly as his puts his natural endurance skills to the test this summer.

Richmond:
Ben Lennon and Nick Bourke, members of the AFL’s AIS Academy Squad, have joined in with the Tigers’ training sessions, conditioning and recovery sessions.

20-year-old Jed Lamb has been one of the standouts so far in pre-season and he hopes to push on as the season approaches

Veteran Darren Glass says he will be happy to relinquish the Eagles’ captaincy this season if the club decides it has a suitable successor

Western Bulldogs:
